As you may have noticed, the end time for "Red Group" has been pushed back to 10:00. This was done at my request because I am really wanting to take full advantage of our practices and time on deck. I am mainly focusing on the older swimmers (15-18 year olds, and occasional 11-14's) who will be practicing in the lanes for which I am responsible, although I encourage all of the Red Groupers to take part. During the past few summers we typically ended our swim workouts at 9:30, with an optional dry land segment or just additional special focus stroke work from 9:30 to 10:00. Well I am removing the "optional" from that this summer
Now it won't be dry land every single day, but I will definitely have some work for them until 10:00, and we will be wrapping up practice as a team. I just wanted to make sure that everyone knows what I have in mind as far as a scheduling goes. I understand completely if your swimmer has other obligations and cannot stay the entire time, I just ask that they let me in advance.
